Chinese minor metals weekly roundup – Magnesium faces uphill battle, tungsten crawls up, antimony stays firm

BEIJING (Metal-Pages) 03-Jul-09.  Magnesium metal prices in China have been struggling upwards in the last two days, but face large obstacles considering the quite weak global demand. Tungsten concentrate and APT have kept moving up this week, but the future market is not optimistic considering the ongoing weak demand. Antimony prices have kept firm this week and are expected to go up further in the coming weeks, as the antimony ore shortage continues affecting the output of antimony metal.
